Michael Liu

I am an AI Engineer working on GenAI systems for finance and operations teams. Most of my work sits where LLMs meet messy business data: retrieval, agents, evaluation, cloud deployment, access control, and monitoring.

Currently, I build agents and workflow automations for CFO and finance operations. Before that, I worked on investment and operations copilots for venture capital and financial services teams, including retrieval over large document and email corpora, role-aware access, citations, fallback behavior, and reliability dashboards.

My background combines a Master’s degree in Data Science with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, so I tend to care about both the system design and the workflow it is supposed to improve.
